Our Friend Mo

Mo is cool. Mo is good. You gotta love Mo! Mo is our friend! In fact, everyone loves Mo! Who is Mo? You guess it... Mo-mentum!

All sports teams love Mo. Everyone (almost) wants Mo on their team. And even in the midst of uncertain change, Mo-mentum is a wonderful booster for energy and excitement. It fosters a contagious energy.

For example: When a team is behind in the score, and the captain, or another team leader, rallies the efforts of the team to do what it takes to win, momentum begins to pave the way for success. It's kind of like a snowball rolling down hill — it continues to grow and pick up speed, moving toward its final destination or target.

That is exactly what it has felt like lately for us a FaithWalk. Our friend Mo has been hanging out as we have worked toward the goal of re-launch this coming Sunday, September 16th. A lot of work has been done, and a lot is going on this week.

In truth, I have been consumed lately. Yet, at the same time, very much inspired. People coming together to labor, share creative ideas, and have fun in the process, is resulting in an environment that gives energy, rather than takes.

That's pretty cool. Especially when you are consumed.

You gotta love Mo!
